The initial challenge during the concepting phase was to recreate a brand that would represent them as an expanding, fun and technology oriented company without loosing the personal touch.

I created these illustrations as part of complete coporate rebrand for Flashtalking. Initially designed for the website where they are used to promote each of the companies core products, they also evolved into marketing material and wall art.

As part of the “Celebrating 30 years of James Villas holidays” campaign, James Villas and OMD coordinated a study that featured over 2,700 recipients to understand how our approach toward travel has changed over time.

Running on many sites leading news sites including the daily mail the infographic has succeeded in generating awareness of the James Villas brand and driving traffic to the site.

I started with a rough sketch and brainstorm and decided on the idea of time travel visualise the comparison in holiday travel between 1984 and 2014. I used photoshop to create each panel of the infographic including the character designs.
